While on google I came across an article wondering about where Dumbo came from.While it is true it was written by Helen Aberson my grandfather ,Fred O'Hara, purchased the rights to the story. He was the president of roll-a book.After purchasing the story for the purpose of printing  it in book form he sold the picture and publishing rights to Walt Disney. My grandfather Fred and Mr Disney had been acquaintance for several years. They remained friends up until the death of my grandfather in the late "50's.
