Today Bill Ernest, Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Hong Kong Disneyland, announced four new entertainment initiatives for 2008 – Muppet Mobile Lab, High School Musical Celebration, Nemo Submarine “Turtle Talk” and The Art of Animation.

You can almost see the meeting where they dreamed this up, can't you?

 

"Hey - we've got that bus we used to promote Nemo sitting backstage at Disneyland. Let's send it to Hong Kong so we can add "Turtle Talk" without adding a new building! And while we're at it, we'll send the Muppet Mobile Lab and the Pixar stuff we have in the Animation building! And as long as we're shipping stuff, send 'em a copy of the High School Musical show sets and costumes! After all, if they've never seen it before, it's the same as adding something new, right?"

And they wonder why the HKDL attendance figures have been so disapponting... :(
